Five Injured as Truck Suffers Brake Failure, Hits Two Buses in Lagos

Five people were injured after a 40-foot HOWO truck reportedly suffered brake failure and rammed into two commercial buses at Berger Bus Stop, inward Kara Bridge, near Ojodu, Lagos. The truck, which was travelling out of Lagos, collided with an interstate Mazda bus and a Toyota Hiace bus. The injured passengers, three women and two men, were rescued and taken to the Lagos State Emergency and Trauma Centre at Toll Gate for treatment. The crash caused heavy traffic stretching towards Otedola Bridge. Traffic officers later cleared the damaged vehicles from the road to restore movement and prevent further accidents.
