Key Lessons on God’s Help From Our Church’s 7th Anniversary

My church, Royal Covenant Assembly in Lokoja, marked its seventh anniversary with the theme, “Help of God,” based on Acts 26:22. I am sharing key lessons from the message. We learnt that everyone needs help because there are gaps human strength cannot fill. Scripture shows different forms of help, including help through people, angels, systems, nature, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, and God the Father. We were encouraged to seek God’s help through His mercy, His knowledge of our weaknesses, His good thoughts towards us, His written word, His name as Jehovah Ezer, and the sacrifice of Jesus. The message also stressed the need to surrender to Jesus, listen to Him, obey Him, call on Him, and remain faithful.
