A healthcare worker at HMP Wandsworth has pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office after admitting to an inappropriate relationship with an inmate. The relationship reportedly lasted from September 2023 to November 2024. The inmate allegedly used a smuggled mobile phone to communicate with her while in custody. Both defendants pleaded guilty to separate offences at Kingston Crown Court. They are due to be sentenced on February 9, 2027.
