UNIZIK Alumni Raise Funds for Alumni Centre as Onunkwo Donates ₦50 Million
The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association held its NAUAA Converge 2.0 in Awka on 28 August 2026, bringing together alumni, stakeholders and friends of the university to discuss support for the institution. The event focused on completing the UNIZIK Alumni Centre project. Speakers said alumni contributions, professional networks and partnerships are vital to improving university infrastructure and academic development. Chief Ebuka Onunkwo donated ₦50 million towards the project and urged other stakeholders to contribute. The programme also featured fundraising, project updates, awards and goodwill messages from alumni branches.
