ADC Will Resist Any Attempt to Rig 2027 Elections, David Mark Says

African Democratic Congress National Chairman David Mark says the party will resist any attempt to manipulate the 2027 general elections. Speaking in Abuja during a visit by the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development, Mark said the ADC would comply with electoral rules and its internal code of conduct. He added that the party would not accept being rigged out of the contest. Former Chief Justice of Nigeria Olukayode Ariwoola urged the party to ensure that its candidates and supporters obey electoral rules and avoid actions that could cause political violence. The visit was part of ongoing engagements with political stakeholders ahead of the 2027 polls.
