Rangers to Host Katsina United in Abeokuta for 2026/27 NPFL Opener
Defending NPFL champions Rangers will begin their 2026/27 title defence against Katsina United at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta. The Enugu-based club selected Abeokuta as a temporary home venue while renovation work continues at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. Rangers will also play their CAF Champions League home matches at the stadium. Rangers are targeting a winning start after recent defending champions failed to win their opening fixtures. The club lifted its ninth NPFL title last season and hopes to return to Enugu once the stadium renovation is completed.
