Why Human Empires and Records Eventually Fade
No matter how hard governments, kingdoms, religious institutions and individuals try to preserve their legacy, history can still be lost. Wars, disasters, envy and human failure can destroy records and cause powerful societies to disappear. People build wealth, archives and institutions in search of permanence, yet earthly power does not last forever. History is often rewritten by those who survive, while once-powerful leaders and empires may fade from memory. I believe people should pursue wealth without harming others. Governments should protect the poor, and individuals should reject wickedness even when leaders fail. God’s word remains, while human pride, riches and power will pass away.
