Salisu Yusuf Laments Shooting Stars’ Defensive Errors After 2-0 Loss to Kun Khalifat

Shooting Stars coach Salisu Yusuf has blamed defensive errors for his team’s 2-0 defeat to Kun Khalifat in NPFL Matchday 8. Agor Chukwuma gave Kun Khalifat the lead in the 40th minute, while Uche doubled the advantage in the 63rd minute. The home side held on for a deserved victory. Yusuf said Kun Khalifat played better and defended well, while Shooting Stars fell short at both ends of the pitch. Having only recently taken charge of the Oluyole Warriors, he said improving the team’s defensive line is now an urgent priority.
