Mike Farrell is an American actor, producer and activist best known for playing Captain B.J. Hunnicutt in the television series M*A*S*H from 1975 to 1983. Born on February 6, 1939, in South St. Paul, Minnesota, he served in the United States Marine Corps before beginning his acting career. He later appeared in Providence, Desperate Housewives and other television productions. Farrell co-founded Farrell/Minoff Productions and co-produced the 1998 film Patch Adams. He has also been involved in human-rights and anti-death-penalty advocacy. His estimated net worth is reported to be about $6 million.
