Lagos Power Worker Survives Electric Shock While Repairing Line in Gbagada

A power worker narrowly survived an electric shock while repairing a line on a utility pole in Gbagada, Lagos. The worker reportedly suffered burns after the shock occurred while he was on the pole. His colleagues worked together to lower him safely as residents watched. He was taken to hospital and is said to be responding to treatment. A video of the rescue has circulated widely online.
