A Bible-Based Prayer Against Racism for African Believers
As Africans, we have endured racism and anti-Blackness around the world. Today, we come before Yahuwah to lift our voices in prayer and seek His deliverance. Baruch 4:21 encourages us: “Be of good cheer, O my children, cry unto the Lord, and He will deliver you from the power and hand of the enemies.” We also draw strength from the Prayer of Azariah in the Ethiopian tradition, asking God to bring shame upon those who harm His people. Let us pray together: “Deliver us according to Your marvelous works, O Lord, and give glory to Your name. Confound those who hurt Your people; break their strength, and let them know that You alone are God, glorious over all the earth.”
