SMEDAN Reopens Portal for ₦50,000 Conditional Grant to Small Businesses

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria has reopened its Conditional Grant Scheme portal for eligible nano and micro businesses. The scheme offers a one-off, non-repayable grant of ₦50,000 to qualifying beneficiaries. Unlike a conventional loan, it does not attract interest. Beneficiaries must meet the programme’s conditions, including employing at least one additional worker. The initiative is intended to help small businesses access funding and create jobs.
