Moses Usor Celebrates Winning Goal on Super Eagles Debut Against Madagascar
Moses Usor says his scoring debut for the Super Eagles means a great deal to him after Nigeria’s 2-1 comeback win over Madagascar in their opening AFCON 2027 qualifier in Uyo. Madagascar took the lead in the 16th minute before debutant George Ilenikhena equalised shortly before half-time. Usor came off the bench in the second half and scored the 67th-minute winner. The LASK forward thanked coach Eric Chelle, his teammates and Nigerian fans for their support. The result gives Nigeria an early advantage in Group L, where they are competing with Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau for the available qualification place.
