FGN-IFAD Programme Empowers Persons With Disabilities in Ebonyi With Business Equipment

The FGN-IFAD Value Chain Development Programme has distributed business and agricultural equipment to persons with disabilities in Ebonyi State. The items included grinding machines, cassava pounders, generators, POS machines and starter agro-food shops. Programme officials said the support followed individual needs assessments and is intended to help beneficiaries build sustainable livelihoods. Beneficiaries were urged to use the equipment for their businesses and improve their financial independence. A beneficiary from Edda LGA thanked the programme for the assistance and pledged to make good use of the items.
