Anambra Government Denies Links to Alleged Fake Made-in-Nigeria Agency
The Anambra State Government has clarified its limited dealings with the purported Made-in-Nigeria Agency, following reports that the agency may be fake. The state said its governor nominated a focal person in February 2026 after receiving a request reportedly linked to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The focal person subsequently joined a WhatsApp group with representatives from the 36 states. Anambra also approved a request to host a South-East Made-in-Nigeria Fair scheduled for 2 to 5 December 2026. The government said it has no knowledge of, or involvement in, any other activities attributed to the office.
