Igbinedion University Names Teaching Hospital After Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Igbinedion University has renamed its teaching hospital the Pastor Dr Chris Oyakhilome Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital. Chief Gabriel Igbinedion announced the decision at the university’s convocation ceremony, citing Oyakhilome’s humanitarian and healing ministry. Oyakhilome thanked Igbinedion for the honour and described him as humble, elegant and deeply committed to God. He also recounted their first meeting in 2019 and shared a personal testimony about Igbinedion’s recovery from knee problems. The cleric said he was moved by Igbinedion’s faith and expressed gratitude for the university and the recognition.
