Adebutu Challenges Omission From INEC’s Ogun Governorship Candidates List

Ogun PDP governorship candidate Ladi Adebutu has urged his supporters to remain calm after his name was omitted from INEC’s final list of candidates for the 2027 election. Adebutu said he completed his party registration and submitted all required documents within the stipulated time. He maintained that he remains a PDP member and said the primary that produced him was monitored by INEC officials. He alleged that the APC pressured INEC and claimed that the PDP had faced restrictions on billboards, attacks at campaign venues and harassment of members. He said the party would pursue the matter through the appropriate channels.
