Lekki Motorist Raises Alarm After Traffic Robbers Strip ₦300,000 Car Part

A Lagos motorist says a three-man gang targeted her while she was caught in traffic in the Lekki area at about 9pm. She alleged that the men forcefully removed a chrome strip from her Mercedes-Benz windshield, which she valued at ₦300,000. She said they then moved to other vehicles in the gridlock and took phones and valuables from motorists. The motorist said this was the second time she had been targeted in the area, after thieves allegedly removed the emblem from her G-Wagon. She advised drivers to stay alert and avoid stopping for strangers who may be staging an emergency.
