Tyrique George on Everton’s Late Fightback Against Manchester United
Nigerian-eligible forward Tyrique George said Everton never stopped believing they could recover against Manchester United in their dramatic 2-2 Premier League draw. George scored Everton’s equaliser in the 83rd minute after cutting inside and firing into the top corner. He said he simply struck the ball as hard as he could. Manchester United regained the lead through Benjamin Sesko in the 88th minute, but Ainsley Maitland-Niles rescued a point for Everton with a stoppage-time strike. George said the result felt like a win as Everton continue their push for European qualification.
