Miracle of Jesus Walking on Water (Matthew 14:22-33)

After dismissing the crowd, Jesus climbs a mountainside to pray alone. Late at night, the disciples’ boat is battered by waves. Before dawn, Jesus walks across the lake toward them. Terrified, they think he is a ghost. Jesus reassures them and invites Peter to come out onto the water. Peter steps out and walks toward Jesus, but fear of the wind makes him sink. Jesus immediately catches him and rebukes his doubt. When they return to the boat, the wind dies down. The disciples worship Jesus, declaring him the Son of God.
