2027: Dino Melaye Says ADC Will Unseat Tinubu’s Government
Former Kogi West senator Dino Melaye says President Bola Tinubu and his family should prepare to leave the Presidential Villa after the 2027 general election. Speaking on a television programme, Melaye said the African Democratic Congress would defeat the APC. He argued that hardship, insecurity, alleged corruption and poor governance have widened public dissatisfaction with the administration. He also questioned the government’s budget implementation, alleging that some contracts awarded in 2024 remain unpaid despite continued borrowing. Melaye maintained that the 2027 election would result in a change of government.
