Knowing God Personally Beyond Religious Knowledge
There is a difference between knowing facts about God and having a personal relationship with Him. Reading the Bible, attending church and understanding Christian teaching can build knowledge, but they do not automatically mean someone is walking closely with God. Matthew 7:22–23 warns that religious activity alone is not proof of a genuine relationship with Christ. Paul, despite his deep religious background, still expressed a desire to know Christ more deeply in Philippians 3:10. Christian faith presents eternal life as knowing God through Jesus Christ. Believers are encouraged to seek Him personally, not only through information, but through faith, obedience, prayer and daily fellowship.
