Delta Police Arrest Suspected Supreme Vikings Cultists in Twin Murder Case
The Delta State Police have arrested suspected Supreme Vikings Confraternity members in connection with a fatal shooting and stabbing. According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, the suspects mistook 31-year-old Alex Adanike of Agbhara-Otor for his twin brother, Okpako Adanike, and killed him on January 20, 2026. Two suspects, Warri Ochuko and Lucky Okohwoake, were arrested early in the investigation and confessed to the crime. A recent raid on criminal hideouts in Ughelli and Warri led by DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi produced two additional arrests. Tega Micheal, 26, and Tena Sagbene, 32, were identified by the original suspects as accomplices in the murder. All four suspects were arraigned before the Ughelli High Court on March 31, 2026, and remanded in prison custody.
