The Gift of God: Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ
Jesus bore the weight of sin on the cross so that we can be reconciled to God. Through His death and resurrection, believers are called to leave sin behind and live in the freedom of grace. Baptism represents dying and rising with Christ. It is a call to walk in newness of life, with a clear conscience and a heart yielded to God. We should not allow sin to rule our lives. The wages of sin is death, but God’s gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
