Angry Mob Lynches Two Alleged Phone Snatchers in Kano

A crowd in Gyadi-Gyadi, Kano State, attacked two young men accused of snatching phones near Fatima Special Primary School, opposite Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. Witnesses say the suspects first took a girl’s phone and later pounced on a male passerby. Armed with knives, they dared anyone to challenge them, drawing nearby residents into the confrontation. Passersby beat the suspects unconscious at the Court Road roundabout. One victim later died at the hospital. Locals condemn the rise in phone snatching and warn against such attacks.
