Texas Executes Ker'Sean Olajuwa Ramey Over 2005 Triple Murder

Texas has executed Ker'Sean Olajuwa Ramey, 41, by lethal injection for the deaths of three people during a 2005 robbery in Edna, Texas. He was pronounced dead on September 23, 2026. Court records said Ramey and LeJames Norman entered a home intending to steal cocaine. Celso Lopez was shot inside the house, while Tiffani Peacock and Sam Roberts were killed after arriving later. Ramey was convicted in 2007 after witnesses, including his girlfriend and Norman, gave evidence against him. His final appeals, which raised concerns about alleged racial bias on the jury and the quality of his legal representation, were rejected. Norman, his co-defendant, was executed a week earlier. Ramey was the sixth person executed in Texas this year.
