Shock at Ebonyi College as Armed Robbery Leaves Seven Students Injured

On Tuesday, June 9, suspected gunmen stormed the hostel of Ebonyi State College of Health Sciences and Technology in Ngbo. Seven students were hurt during the attack and had phones and other belongings stolen. The school hostel has no perimeter fence or security post, leaving students vulnerable. Witnesses say the robbers entered undetected and fled before help arrived. Ebonyi Police Command’s spokesperson confirmed the raid and said detectives are pursuing leads to arrest the perpetrators. The injured students are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
