Sowore Recounts Adeboye’s Private Prayer and Message of Encouragement

Omoyele Sowore says Pastor Enoch Adeboye prayed for him during a private meeting after RCCG’s National Thanksgiving Service in Lagos. According to Sowore, Adeboye said he knew him, prayed for him regularly and believed his ways were pure. Sowore said the cleric also told him that he would triumph. He stressed that they did not discuss his presidential ambition and that Adeboye did not endorse any political campaign. Sowore also recalled receiving N10,000 from Adeboye in 1996 to support an anti-cultism campaign in Nigerian universities.
