Ibadan North-West Official Suspended Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities
Kudirat Tijani Olabisi, Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Chairman of Ibadan North-West Local Government, has been suspended for three months without salary or allowances. A suspension letter dated August 19, 2026, cited alleged anti-party activities, disclosure of official secrets and other misconduct. She was directed to hand over all local government property in her possession to the Clerk of the House. Olabisi, the Allied Peoples Movement chairperson in the local government, reportedly declined to join a political alliance being promoted in Oyo State. An APM leader said her suspension was linked to her continued loyalty to the party. The development comes as APM members challenge the party's local government primary process in court ahead of the Oyo State local government elections.
