New LASU Vice-Chancellor Badejo Unveils Eight-Point Agenda

Lagos State University’s new Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olawunmi Ayodeji Badejo, has outlined an eight-point agenda for her five-year tenure. Her priorities include academic quality, research and innovation, financial sustainability, infrastructure, digital transformation, staff welfare and student employability. The agenda also covers institutional governance, community engagement and LASU’s global visibility. Badejo, a professor of Guidance and Counselling, assumed office on September 21, 2026. She succeeds Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello and is LASU’s 10th substantive Vice-Chancellor.
