Chukwueze Vows to Seize Fresh AC Milan Opportunity Under Amorim
Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze says he is determined to revive his AC Milan career after returning from a loan spell at Fulham. The 27-year-old made 25 appearances and scored three goals for Fulham in 2025/26, but the club did not activate its option to sign him permanently. He has now returned to Milan ahead of the 2026/27 Serie A season. Chukwueze scored once and provided two assists in Milan’s 4-2 pre-season win over Manchester United. He says new manager Rúben Amorim has given him confidence and a fresh opportunity, particularly in the right wing-back role. “I can’t waste this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Chukwueze said as Milan prepare to begin their Serie A campaign against Torino.
