Warri Wolves Coach Urges Calm After Two Opening NPFL Defeats
Warri Wolves coach Hassan Abdallah has urged supporters not to panic after the Seasiders lost their opening two matches of the 2026/27 NPFL season. The Delta State side lost 2-1 away to Bendel Insurance before suffering a 2-0 defeat to Rivers United in a rescheduled fixture in Omagwa. Warri Wolves still have a home game against Rangers outstanding because of the Enugu club’s CAF Champions League commitments. Abdallah said both defeats came away from home and insisted the team is improving. Warri Wolves will host Kwara United in Ozoro, Delta State, in their next league match.
