Manchester United are reportedly considering Antonio Conte as a possible replacement if Michael Carrick’s results do not improve. Carrick is under pressure after United’s poor start to the 2026/27 campaign, including a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City despite playing against 10 men for much of the match. He only signed a permanent long-term contract in the summer after an impressive interim spell. Conte is available after leaving Napoli at the end of last season.
