Wild Night at the Guest House: Wife Confronts Husband’s Mistress

I was on routine patrol at my guest house around 8:30pm when I noticed three women loitering at a neighboring gate. They said they were waiting for a friend but spoke in hushed tones about wanting to “deal” with someone. A guest left to buy cheaper plantain chips and, seconds after I locked the gate, I heard loud shouting. One of the women seized him, accusing him of neglecting his starving children and dragging him back toward the guest house. I blocked their entry and warned them off. I then alerted my boss, who arrived on his bike and fired a warning shot into the air. The crowd scattered and the gate stayed locked. In the chaos, the husband slipped away, leaving the mistress behind. We moved her to a staff room for her safety. The whole scene was so dramatic I couldn’t stop laughing.
