Jesus called Zacchaeus down from the tree because He wanted to meet him personally. He did not ask him to perform or prove his worth. He simply chose to stay in his home. People with wealth, influence or public attention may still feel isolated. A sincere greeting, private prayer and respectful conversation can open a door that pressure cannot.
