There is nothing wrong with dating a wealthy person or enjoying what a partner provides. However, access to someone else’s money should not be mistaken for personal financial achievement. A partner’s car, home, trips and lifestyle may improve your comfort, but they do not automatically become your assets. Your own education, career, business, savings, investments and ability to earn are the true measures of your financial position. This applies to both men and women. Have standards and date who you choose, but do not dismiss someone who is still building simply because you are currently connected to wealth you did not create.
