Police in Bossier City say a 37-year-old woman has been charged with cruelty to juveniles and attempted second-degree murder after allegedly kicking her 4-year-old daughter out of a second-story window. The girl was rushed to hospital with fractures in both wrists and forearms. Investigators added the murder count after finding the mother already in custody on the initial cruelty charge. The child is now under the care of the Department of Children and Family Services.
