Criticising Other Religions Requires Self-Reflection
I am often surprised when Muslims criticise Christians, or Christians criticise Muslims, as though only the other faith has flaws. In my view, many of the same weaknesses found in one religious system can also be found in the other, even if they appear in different degrees. I believe Christianity can become more influential or harmful under poor leadership because of its more structured institutions, while Muslim clerics often operate more independently. Whatever one’s religious leaning, accusing others should also invite self-examination. The same standards we apply to others should apply to ourselves.
