Osun at 35: Adeleke Promises More Funding for Poverty Reduction and Infrastructure
Governor Ademola Adeleke says his administration will increase funding for poverty reduction, human capital development and infrastructure as Osun marks its 35th anniversary. In a state broadcast, he said the government would prioritise job creation, industrialisation, workers’ welfare and rural development to ease economic hardship. He also promised to deepen financial inclusion through cooperative financing and improve the ease of doing business. The governor said youths, women and students would remain central to the state’s development programmes. He added that his administration would continue investments in roads, the digital economy, agriculture, education, healthcare and sports.
