Odemwingie Disagrees With Ighalo’s Saudi Move Advice for Osimhen

Former Super Eagles forward Peter Odemwingie has criticised Odion Ighalo’s advice that Victor Osimhen should consider a move to Saudi Arabia for financial security. Ighalo had argued that a short spell in the Saudi Pro League could secure Osimhen’s future before a return to Europe later in his career. Osimhen instead chose to continue his career with Galatasaray. Speaking on a podcast, Odemwingie said players at their peak should prioritise competing at the highest level in Europe, especially when they are still earning well. He said a move to Saudi Arabia should come at the right stage of a player’s career.
