Aiyenugba Backs Kwara United’s Khalifa Quattara to Shine in NPFL
Kwara United goalkeeping coach Dele Aiyenugba believes Malian goalkeeper Khalifa Quattara will adapt quickly and excel in the Nigeria Premier Football League. Quattara made his debut in Kwara United’s 2-2 opening-day draw with Kano Pillars in Ilorin. Aiyenugba said the club has strong options in goal and expects Quattara to improve as the season progresses. The former Super Eagles goalkeeper also said producing a penalty-saving goalkeeper is possible through hard work, focus and concentration. Aiyenugba won two CAF Champions League titles with Enyimba before retiring from playing in 2024 and becoming Kwara United’s goalkeeping coach.
