Ghanaian Man Says Wife Left Him and Their Two Children After Marriage Dispute
A Ghanaian man, Kakra, has appealed for his wife, Mary, to return after she allegedly left their home and their two children, aged one and five. Speaking on a television programme, Kakra said he met Mary through his uncle, who helped arrange their marriage. He said the bride price was reduced from GHC 3,000 to GHC 1,500 after he appealed to her family. Kakra said Mary had four children from a previous relationship before they married, but he accepted her and cared for her. He claimed she left without informing him and believes she may be staying with her family, who say they do not know where she is.
