In this economy, marriage should be a partnership. If a husband is under serious financial pressure, his wife should be able to support him emotionally and help promote or strengthen the business where possible. A man should not feel alone while carrying family responsibilities. I believe many men ignore clear warning signs and marry people who only enjoy the good times. If your spouse dismisses your struggles, disrespects you, cheats, or makes you feel worthless when life gets hard, then the marriage needs serious re-evaluation. Marriage should bring peace, support and growth, not push either partner into despair.
