Actress Chita Agwu Announces Divorce After 11-Year Marriage

Nollywood actress Chita Agwu says her marriage to businessman Johnson Maduabuchi has been legally dissolved after 11 years. In a statement shared on October 19, Agwu said she is choosing peace, healing and personal growth. She asked the public to respect the privacy of everyone involved and said she will not discuss the circumstances of the divorce. The couple held their traditional wedding in Ebonyi State in October 2014 and had their white wedding in June 2015. Agwu had previously said Maduabuchi proposed four days after they met.
