Understanding Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit: Have I Committed It?

It refers to a willful, malicious rejection of the Spirit’s truth by those who knew the light but called it darkness. If you worry about offending the Spirit, that very concern shows your heart is still sensitive. A hardened heart would feel no remorse or lack desire for forgiveness. Passing doubts and intrusive thoughts are not the same as blasphemy. True blasphemy is a final refusal of Christ’s work. God’s grace extends beyond your fears and deepest doubts.
