Survivor Greece Contestant Sues Producers for $100m After Losing Leg in Boat Accident
Survivor Greece contestant Stavros Floros has sued the reality show’s producers for more than $100 million after a boat-propeller accident allegedly led to the amputation of his left leg above the knee. Court filings state that Floros was spearfishing for food during filming on 11 May 2026 when a tourist boat struck him. He alleges that contestants were made to dive in waters busy with tourist vessels without adequate safety boats, protected zones or warning markers. Floros claims a tour-boat passenger applied a tourniquet that saved his life. He was later taken to a Miami hospital, where he underwent several surgeries during a 61-day admission.
