Scholes Urges Carrick to Start Sesko Ahead of Manchester Derby
Paul Scholes has urged Manchester United manager Michael Carrick to start Benjamin Sesko as a recognised striker ahead of the Manchester derby. Sesko missed pre-season with a shin injury and has yet to start this campaign. Matheus Cunha has instead played through the middle, but Scholes believes he is better suited to a No. 10 or wide role. Speaking after United's 2-2 draw with Everton, Scholes criticised the side's lack of aggression and said the team is difficult to watch without a natural centre-forward. Sesko strengthened his case by scoring a header off the bench against Everton. United are also scheduled to face Sabah FK in a midweek Champions League match before the derby.
