Donnarumma Tells Paris Court He Was Punched and Held at Knifepoint in 2023 Robbery

Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma said he was punched, tied up and threatened with a knife during a home invasion at his Paris apartment in July 2023. Court documents state that four men broke into the Avenue Montaigne flat while Donnarumma and his then-pregnant partner, Alessia Elefante, were asleep. The attackers allegedly demanded watches and other valuables, making off with luxury items estimated at between £430,000 and more than €500,000. The trial was disrupted after some defendants reportedly shouted in court and were removed. Two people who were minors at the time of the robbery have already received prison sentences of three and four years, while proceedings continue against other suspects.
