Faith, Generosity and Trusting God for Provision
Many years ago, I felt God ask me what kind of pastor I wanted to become. I said I wanted to be the greatest, the best and the richest. Having grown up in poverty, including spending my first 18 years without a pair of shoes, I understood the hardship that lack can bring. At a church offering, I felt led to give the biggest currency note in my pocket. Later, I was challenged to double and then triple my giving. As I obeyed, unexpected gifts began to come from different people, strengthening my faith in God as my provider. I encourage Christians to trust God and give from what they have been blessed with. The message is that faithful generosity and dependence on God can open the way for His provision.
