CCTV footage shows two hooded assailants dousing a black Lexus with petrol in the driveway of Salma Yaqoob’s family home in Birmingham before igniting it in a flash of flame. Her brothers, Farrukh and Rashad, raced to the scene with a garden hose and buckets to prevent the fire from reaching the hybrid battery or their house. Firefighters arrived shortly after and contained the blaze without any injuries. Authorities believe the attack was a deliberate threat against the pro-Palestine activist’s family. A police investigation is under way, and Salma Yaqoob expressed relief that no one was harmed.
